GREAT class - I have ALWAYS wanted to knit and Christmas ornament - So I can cross this from my goal sheet. Thank You GREAT presentation from all areas of this Academy

The instructions were clear and complete. The videography was excellent with the camera focused on the hands and the project.

I have been knitting for over 50 years, but I did learn a few new things from watching this class. I'm sure how I knit is not always how it's "really" supposed to be done, so I look things up on You Tube, or take classes like this one, to see if I'm doing it right.

I really enjoyed the lesson! The duplicate stitch was a little confusing, but the rest of the lesson was fun and very clear. He was also very clear about the different increases that can be used and decreases.

Easy to follow. Now to make ornaments, that will hopefully be passed down through my kids.

This was a great class! Johnny took the class step by step all the way through knitting an ornament, from cast on to seaming up and making the ball hanger. There is not one step in the whole project that he did not demonstrate how to do. Plus, he has a relaxed manner and soothing voice that make it enjoyable to follow along. If you've ever had knitting lessons from a hyper instructor, you'll love the difference in Johnny's knitting. He is infinitely patient and knows exactly how to make everything understandable for the learner. There are so many advantages to knitted Christmas ornaments. They don’t break, so you can’t get cut on them; this makes them much safer for households with pets and children. A set of these for a couple about to have a baby would be really thoughtful. You can hang them on the tree or on the mantel, tie one to the bow on a Christmas gift, or attach one with a bow to a bag or tin of homemade Christmas cookies. We had a gorgeous multicolored ball ornament that we hung on our Christmas tree every year as a family tradition. It was beautifully made and probably hand-blown and hand-painted. Then one year my little sister dropped it and broke it, and we were never able to find another one like it. That’s not going to happen with these knitted ornaments. You can keep them forever, and if anything does damage one you can just have the fun of knitting another one :).

I'm going to be making a lot of these ornaments this year. Johnny goes slowly enough to follow, speaks clearly and is very relaxed and easy going. Another great class. I just about finished the first ornament and have lots of ideas for future ornaments. Take this class, you won't be disappointed.

I thought the class was superb. It was so easy to follow the pattern. I really enjoyed the class and can't wait to get started on these ornaments. I look forward to taking future online classes. Thank you so much!

Great class. I stuffed my ornament with fiberfill and it worked great. Can see this technique being used not only for neat Christmas ornaments but for balls for small children to play with in the house.

I have only been knitting a couple of years, so always will be in the learning process. I really enjoyed the class because watching Johnny as he explains makes it so easy. Always showing the front and back is helpful to me too. I have encouraged my group of knitting friends to join up. The ornament was a new concept for me and I like how easy it will be to make it personal. Thank you!

I loved the Christmas ornament cozy. Instructions were great as Johnny took plenty of time to explain everything. I will be making these for Christmas this year for lots of people!

This was a fun class, the ornaments are really neat, so many designs that could be used with making different ornaments. Thanks for the class.

I love the fact that this class was almost like a knit along! It was great to learn new things (double stitching) and making a great Christmas gift at the same time! Thanks so much for all the great ideas for what else to do with these ornaments! I can't wait to get started on more :)

Thanks for another great class. So many possibilities on how to decorate them. I also loved learning how to do the increase you showed us how to do. Lots of great ornaments coming up!

I really enjoyed this class. I was able to follow along quite well. Johnny explains and shows everything step by step. Since I've been watched your classes, my knitting has improved greatly. I'll be making several of these ornaments and I'm go to try and make these ornaments using smaller balls.
